Patient Care Technician

As a Patient Care Technician at Prisma Health, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care and improving the health and well-being of our community.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Collect and process laboratory specimens, including blood and urine samples.
- Provide basic life support, including CPR and first aid.
- Assist with fall prevention interventions and patient restraints as delegated.
- Perform point of care testing, including glucose and blood pressure monitoring.
- Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
- Completion of a Patient Care Technician program (post high school)
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of office equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
