Job Description

This position is primarily responsible for cycling through various areas of the business, including New Equipment Construction, Plant Engineering, and Field Service and Technical Support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus primarily on mechanical design and research for various projects and business units.
  • Perform field service and technical support.
  • Responsible for project cost estimation and resource budgeting.
  • Work primarily out of plant locations in Hebron and Newark, Ohio, but must be willing to work on field projects outside of these locations.
  • Interact with customers on a daily basis.
  • Study and create new technology drawings for product improvements or development.
  • Recommend and implement electrical equipment upgrades and improvements at various MPW locations.
  • Perform other duties as directed.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Technology.
  • Associate degree with appropriate experience will be considered.
  • Technical experience in dealing with pumps, valves, electronics, and piping.
  • Strong technical/mechanical skills.
  • Experience with 2 & 3D CADD software.
  • Experience with Solid Works.
  • Candidates should have proficiency with all MS Office applications.
  • Hands-on ability is a must.
  • Experience with water purification technology is preferred.
  • Familiarity with mechanical codes and compliance.
  • Individually motivated.
  • Must be willing to travel.
