About the Role

Morguard Corp is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of maintenance and repair in our luxury apartment community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the upkeep of our apartment community, including plumbing, drywall repair, painting, carpentry, appliance repair, and pressure cleaning.
  • Respond to work orders in a timely and efficient manner, communicating with residents and management as needed.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide emergency maintenance services outside of regular working hours.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance supervisor to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Contribute to special projects and property-wide routine maintenance as needed.
Requirements
  • HVAC Type I and Type II/EPA Universal Certification is required.
  • Previous experience in a luxury apartment community, with a focus on closing work orders and turning apartments, is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills are essential for interacting with residents and management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • High school graduate or equivalent, with technical school preferred but not required.
