**About the Opportunity:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individual to join our team as a DHS Intensive Care Coordinator. As part of our Mental Health America of Los Angeles (MHALA) team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and connecting them with essential resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will provide intensive case management services to clients eligible for permanent housing through the Department of Health Services (DHS) Housing for Health (HFH) program.
  • Your expertise will be utilized to assist clients with daily living tasks, maintain housing stability, and connect with community resources.
  • We are looking for an individual who can function well in a team-oriented approach to client services, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; experience working with vulnerable populations preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with ability to learn new software as needed.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $24.00 per hour competitive salary based on experience.
