Job Title: Vendor Management Lead

JLL is seeking a highly skilled Vendor Management Lead to support a premier financial client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Continuously monitor and improve the end-to-end Supplier Performance Management (SPM) Program to meet supplier management requirements.
  • Develop and implement a fully integrated Project Management focused vendor management program, with support and alignment from internal and client partners.
  • Ensure all program deliverables are completed on time and accurate, including Supply Chain Risk Assessments, Supplier score-carding, supplier business reviews, compliance audits, contract administration, and enhanced vendor management activity.
  • Effectively manage by influence to drive full compliance among various stakeholders regarding adherence to SPM program, playbook requirements, and data integrity.
  • Interface and partner with Client senior leaders to ensure alignment regarding program requirements, management strategy, processes, and ongoing deliverables.
  • Create and deliver training to cross-functional support teams, including score-carding, Business Reviews, and other program requirements.
  • Partner with service line SPOCs to ensure the SPM program is well integrated with on-account service lines; promote partnership and cooperation to ensure support with overall SPM program success.
  • Partner with SCMP Platform team to ensure Vendor Management Programs are well integrated and aligned with foundation platform direction, including but not limited to technology, category management, supplier diversity, etc.
  • Identify and solve process gaps by identifying failure points, engaging stakeholders, investigating potential solutions, and effectively implementing the best solution in a clear, documented format for use by all stakeholders to sustainably improve performance.
  • Manage off-shore delivery of out-tasked administrative functions.
  • Manage a team with diverse responsibilities, effectively delegating and cross-training as appropriate.
  • Possess excellent communication skills to work across multiple Service Lines within the organization.
  • Successfully manage multiple competing priorities.
Critical Competencies for Success:
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Vendor management experience preferred
  • Proven track record of excellent internal and external customer service
  • Ability to drive accountability, strong critical reasoning, and follow-through
  • Exhibits strong interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and problem-solving/conflict resolution abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally
  • High degree of innovation with the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
