Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Equipment Installation Manager to oversee the installation and setup of medical capital equipment in healthcare facilities. This role is crucial in ensuring that our equipment is installed correctly, safely, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee the installation process from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating with various stakeholders. Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Site Assessment: Conduct site assessments to determine installation requirements and constraints. Collaborate with facility managers and construction teams to address any site-specific issues.
  • Installation Supervision: Supervise and guide installation technicians and subcontractors. Provide hands-on support when needed to ensure proper equipment setup and compliance with safety standards.
  • Coordination: Liaise with medical staff, construction teams, and other relevant parties to ensure seamless integration of equipment into the facility. Address and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all installations meet industry regulations, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant codes and regulations.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed records of installation procedures, site conditions, and any issues encountered. Complete required documentation for project completion and compliance.
  • Training: Provide training to facility staff on the use and maintenance of newly installed equipment. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Travel: Travel to various healthcare facility sites during daytime hours as required. Travel frequency may vary depending on project demands.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical equipment installation, with a strong understanding of construction processes related to installation projects, or related project management experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Construction Management) preferred. Relevant certifications or technical training are a plus.
  • Skills: Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with medical equipment types, installation procedures, and safety standards. Basic understanding of construction principles and practices.
  • Travel Requirements: Ability to travel to various sites during daytime hours. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary.
  • Remote Work: Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively from a remote location.
