The position carries substantial public relations responsibilities, necessitating interaction with a diverse array of healthcare and public safety professionals during high-pressure situations.
Additionally, the role requires expertise in subject matter management and the ability to work independently on projects that enhance Flight For Life operations.
Collaboration and CoordinationThe Flight Paramedic collaborates closely with the Flight Nurse and Pilot crew members to coordinate transport operations and clinical care, adhering to established policies and procedures set forth by Flight For Life Administration, the Flight For Life Medical Director, and the FAA Part 135 operator.
Additional DutiesResponsibilities may include other tasks as assigned to support clinical operations of the program.
Training and DevelopmentExtensive orientation and continuous training are provided to new Associates to ensure their success, as the program has stringent post-hire credentialing requirements, including dual board certification.
Proficiency in keyboarding/documentation and general computer skills is essential.
