Job Description

Our Allstate Agency, Thomas Allen Agency, is seeking a career-minded individual to join our successful sales team. As a sales representative, you'll be responsible for growing our Auto, Life, and Home insurance business. Our agency invests heavily in marketing, providing a steady stream of client leads. We are a fast-paced environment, operating two Allstate Agencies in the Kentucky area. We are looking for a goal-oriented and hardworking individual to help us continue to grow exponentially.

The ideal candidate will possess a Property/Casualty insurance license or be willing to obtain one and have a great personality.

Responsibilities
  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
  • Solicit new business through various lead sources, including networking and referrals.
  • Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
  • Develop ongoing relationships with business partners, such as Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, and Title Companies.
  • Identify and pursue new Financial Services opportunities.
  • Encourage referrals from satisfied customers and explain our referral program.
  • Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating, and compliance requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date on new products and services.
  • Prospect and generate new business through leads and referral sources.
  • Generate insurance quotes and provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain a high level of phone productivity and meet sales quotas as determined by management.

Requirements

A Property and Casualty insurance license is required.

  • Develop strong relationships with clients from a cold start.
  • Be an effective presenter and communicator.
  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, and resourceful, and be coachable.
  • Have an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Be proficient in multitasking, follow-through, and follow-up.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A Property & Casualty license is preferred, but we will train a good individual.
  • Professional phone etiquette.
