Medical Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality laboratory testing and results to support patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform accurate and timely laboratory testing
- Seek guidance from medical technologists, supervisors, department head, and medical director in the review and interpretation of clinical laboratory data
- Resolve any outstanding workload or communicate to staff relief
- Perform quality control procedures per protocol and complete necessary documentation
- Assist supervisor in meeting department regulatory agency requirements (CAP, etc.)
- A 2-Year/Associate Degree in Science is required
