Job Summary
HEICO Corporation seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist to perform inspection on aerospace products. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and ability to interpret specifications and engineering drawings.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret specifications and engineering drawings to understand requirements.
- Perform inspection on aerospace products as described in written work instructions.
- Utilize standard inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height gages, dial indicators, plug gages, etc.
- Performs complex and critical inspection procedures requiring special set-up of new or unique equipment and interpretation of test data from a variety of sources.
- Follows general inspection guidelines to conduct visual, dimensional, mechanical, electrical test and functional inspections on a wide variety of components/assemblies.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Requirements
- High School or GED equivalent.
- Some experience in high attention to detail position; training offered.
- Strong work ethic (flexibility to work occasional long hours).
- Highly responsive customer requirements, with a high attention for details.
- Must work well with others and be flexible in handling a variety of tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to effectively interact with employees of all levels.
