**Accounting Specialist Opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team at the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of bookkeeping, including data entry, general ledger maintenance, and financial statement preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record and manage accounts payable invoices, ensuring timely approvals and accurate reporting.
  • Process cash disbursements, reconcile member ledgers, and perform bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and post accounts receivable, fees, and other transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Conduct month-end entries and reconciliations, as well as prepare financial statements and reports for properties and owners.
  • Manage payroll data collection and reporting to third-party processors, issue 1099s, and prepare 1096 forms.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in full-charge bookkeeping functions, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Punctuality, reliability, and ability to work independently, with excellent communication skills.
  • Criminal background check and drug testing required.

Compensation:** $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
