Job Description

The Exempt Quality Assurance Professional will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of our Quality Management System (QMS) and maintaining Quality System Approvals. This involves leading/supporting internal and external audit activities, managing all aspects of the Quality Planning / NPI process, and representing the organization as the Quality Interface to Customer Quality.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective processes and procedures to ensure the QMS is understood and followed by all personnelManage the Quality Planning / NPI process to ensure on-time and completeness of Quality NPI requirementsRepresent the organization as the Quality Interface to Customer Quality, ensuring timely responses to customer queries and concernsLead/support internal and external audit activities (System, NADCAP, Customer, etc) as required to meet requirements and maintain approvalsEnsure Export Control requirements and controls are met, taking necessary steps to ensure export compliance at all times

Requirements

The ideal candidate must be a "US Person" as defined by US Government and able to work without restriction with ITAR related data. A Bachelor Degree in Engineering or other related field is preferred; High School Diploma or G.E.D required. The candidate should have 5+ years of relevant Aerospace, Aero-Engine or complimentary experience. Additionally, they should possess computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Access. Working knowledge of inspection techniques, quality engineering practices, understanding of data collection and statistical process control (SPC) techniques, and good communication skills are also required.
