Patient Transporter

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation of Patients: Safely and efficiently transport patients to their desired locations, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the process.
  • Equipment Management: Utilize wheelchairs and other approved rolling stock to transport patients, and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with nursing personnel, clinicians, technicians, and reception staff to ensure seamless coordination of patient transfers.
  • Patient Comfort: Provide exceptional patient care by being attentive to their needs, offering blankets, and ensuring their modesty is respected.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain equipment to prevent malfunctions and ensure patient safety.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to federal, state, and JCAHO regulations, as well as facility confidentiality and patient rights policies.
