JOB SUMMARY

The Human Resources Specialist plays a crucial role in the daily administration of policies and programs related to benefits, recruitment, compensation, training, payroll, employee relations, safety, and workers' compensation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Develops and implements HR operational strategies aligned with organizational goals.

+ Serves as the primary point of contact for mediation, providing guidance and support to resolve issues related to company policies and procedures.

+ Cultivates strong relationships with plant leadership to assist in prioritizing business objectives and activities.

+ Collaborates with plant leadership to identify and implement best practices and solutions for employee-related matters.

+ Proactively identifies compliance risks and proposes necessary changes to mitigate them.

+ Analyzes HR metrics to uncover trends and establish key performance indicators.

+ Correlates organizational metrics with overall business success.

+ Partners with plant leadership to ensure adherence to budgets and business plans.

+ May provide informal support such as technical guidance and training to colleagues.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

+ Bachelor's degree is required.

+ 2 to 4 years of relevant experience is required.

+ An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

+ Preferred certifications include Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) or Professional of Human Resources (PHR).
