This role presents an exciting opportunity to work within a leading multinational chemical firm. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing Record to Report (RTR) processes for the EMEA region, ensuring compliance with Group Policies, local regulations, and GAAP standards.

Reporting directly to the RTR Lead Accounting in Italy, the ideal candidate will contribute to team development, assist with system transitions, and engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Month-End Closing procedures, including reporting and variance analysis.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations using Blackline.
  • Act as the primary contact for corporate finance and FP&A for assigned entities.
  • Manage audit processes and serve as the main liaison for auditors, ensuring timely delivery of all required documentation.
  • Conduct cash forecasting and monitor actuals.
  • Review travel expenses through Chrome River.
  • Supervise all fixed asset activities, including acquisitions, disposals, capital expenditures, and depreciation.
  • Ensure timely tax payments in accordance with schedules from the tax department.
  • Address a variety of ad hoc queries and analyses, prioritizing tasks effectively.
Who Are You?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant Accounting or Finance experience.
  • Proficient in Excel, with experience in complex modeling and large datasets.
  • Familiarity with SAP; experience with JDE and HFM is advantageous.
  • Experience in a Financial Shared Services role within a large, publicly traded multinational corporation is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SOX compliance.
