As a Managed Services Provider (MSP), we deliver extensive IT solutions tailored to businesses of various sizes, ensuring their systems function efficiently and securely.
The Lead IT Systems Administrator will play a crucial role in two primary domains of IT Service Delivery. The first focus will be on the management and support of server infrastructures, Microsoft 365, Azure, virtual environments, storage solutions, security measures, and Backup Disaster Recovery (BDR) systems, encompassing both on-premise and cloud-based technologies. The second focus will involve addressing escalated service requests and providing advanced support beyond the capabilities of our higher-tier Service Desk Technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for Microsoft technologies including Microsoft 365, Teams, Azure, SharePoint, Windows Server, and SQL.
- Administer virtualization technologies such as VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft.
- Deliver IT support for internal systems and network infrastructure issues.
- Offer technical services at the network level, ensuring WAN and LAN connectivity, router, firewall, and security management.
- Manage hosted and cloud solutions for clients, aligning with their specific requirements.
- Oversee advanced support and implementation of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Support remote access solutions including VPN, Terminal Services, and Citrix.
- Monitor alerts and notifications from the remote monitoring and management system, responding through service tickets as necessary.
- Maintain and administer the remote monitoring and management system, including updating agent scripts and conducting periodic system reviews.
- Document all computer systems and network infrastructure for future reference.
- Communicate with clients as needed, keeping them updated on incident progress and notifying them of any changes or scheduled outages.
