The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Operations Engineer II to join our team. As a critical infrastructure specialist, you will be responsible for providing 24/7 technical support and troubleshooting assistance to field operations for facilities critical infrastructure equipment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier II support to field technicians and field management in stabilizing emergency situations and reducing the dependency on vendor support for issues that can be solved internally.
  • Dispatch vendors in ticketing system, follow up on repairs with vendors and process vendor invoices.
  • Assist field technicians in reducing the dependency on vendor support for issues that can be solved internally.
  • Participate as a subject matter expert on task forces or cross-functional projects; advise departments on solutions for technical problems or barriers.
  • Recommend solutions to increase network integrity and reliability through testing and evaluation.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of documented sound experience working with critical infrastructure.
  • Recognized leadership skills, effective communication skills, and ability to perform extremely complex technical tasks.
  • Ability to travel in short notice to provide hands-on assistance with emergency situations.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
