ROLE AND PURPOSE

  • Oversee, train, and manage the culinary services operation on campus, ensuring adherence to regulations and departmental objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current Food Manager Certificate recognized by the Texas Department of State Health Services

Experience:

  • Previous experience in supervising K-12 culinary services
  • Preferred two years of supervisory experience in a similar role

Special Knowledge/Skills:

  • Proficient in English for effective communication and instructions
  • Skilled in time management and coordination
  • Computer literate
  • Financially knowledgeable with basic mathematical skills
  • Effective communicator with various stakeholders
  • Informed about kitchen operations, equipment, and food safety protocols

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

INSTRUCTIONAL MANAGEMENT

  • Provide safety training for staff members
