This role involves overseeing the maintenance operations within a family-owned regional enterprise that has been successfully operating since 1934. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in plant maintenance and leadership roles. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with various management levels, as well as managing and supporting engineering teams while adhering to established preventative maintenance protocols. Candidates must be physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling at least 50 pounds and must be flexible with their work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and oversee a scheduled preventative maintenance program
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals
  • Uphold safety and cleanliness standards within the facility
  • Provide assistance across different departments as necessary
  • Supervise frontline maintenance staff
  • Train and mentor both existing and new maintenance personnel
  • Design, plan, install, and maintain various plant systems

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Physical capability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
  • At least 3-5 years of maintenance experience
  • Highly organized and computer literate
  • Associate's Degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
