Job Title: Janitor/Production Operator

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Production Operator to join our team at Mallinckrodt. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, operating equipment, and assisting with packaging operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in our site's EHS, quality, and Performance Excellence programs to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Maintain the necessary qualifications and skills to perform the Packager role within the Spray Dryer unit and assist with packaging operations in the granulation unit as assigned.
  • Perform daily housekeeping duties as assigned by your supervisor.
  • Secure the general plant after normal business hours and load special waste material into the special waste dumpster as required.
  • Operate fork lift trucks and other machinery safely, ensuring daily checks are completed and documented.
  • Assist other operators on site as directed by your supervisor or management to complete assigned tasks as a team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
Additional Information:

New hires typically start as Janitors and bid on other positions as they become available. Positions and shift assignments will be determined.

Shifts vary based on position available on employee's start date, with options for 3 days on, 3 days off, 6 am to 6 pm, or 6 pm to 6 am.
