Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team at Syensqo. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and support to ensure that our manufacturing processes meet or exceed departmental targets in terms of HSE, Quality, Productivity, and Cost.
  • Establish and maintain control of process metrics and data to ensure that our processes are in control.
  • Provide direct engineering support to production to ensure that our products are running within SOP/PCD and to the desired quality standards.
  • Participate in visible safety leadership activities and ensure that our processes meet the necessary safety obligations.
  • Collaborate with Quality Engineers, Process Engineers, and production department to respond to all customer issues, quality escapes, and other systemic quality issues.
  • Maintain, develop, and update all control documents such as SOPs, MSOPs, WIs, recipes, visual Inspection, etc.
  • Maintain and manage metric data such as BOMs, recipes, scrap, yield, and other aspects of product configuration.
  • Liaise with project engineers to implement new capital projects in production areas.
  • Coach and support employees in lean and six sigma principles and methodology.
  • Ensure that productivity metrics such as uptime and throughput are visible on the shop floor and deviations to standard are being actioned.
  • Ensure that the routing of production data is in sync with real running conditions to maximize OTIF.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred).
  • 2-4 years of manufacturing experience (new engineering graduates with manufacturing internship experience will be considered).
  • Strong problem-solving ability to independently or collaboratively solve complex problems.
  • Demonstrate resilience in completing projects with significant time and resource constraints.
  • Must be performance and results-oriented.
  • Must have strong communication skills and be able to influence key stakeholders.

  • A competitive U.S. base salary range of $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year.
