We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our HUP ED Observation Unit team. This is a full-time position working day shifts, with an every-third-weekend requirement. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing patient wellness and safety while maintaining meaningful relationships with staff, patients, and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care through the application of the nursing process, prioritizing physical, psychosocial, cultural, educational, safety, and age-appropriate considerations.
  • Work collaboratively with the interprofessional healthcare team to facilitate coordination of care across the continuum.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives, evaluating and integrating best current evidence with clinical expertise and patient preferences.
  • Engage in leadership roles, seeking feedback and providing feedback for improved clinical practice.
  • Comply with all regulations and standards of regulatory and accrediting bodies.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Registered Nurse licensure in Pennsylvania
  • BSN from an accredited school of nursing or equivalent experience
