We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) team at Pennsylvania Hospital. As a Clinical Nurse 2, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our critical care team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, utilizing evidence-based practices and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to promote best practices.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to facilitate effective communication, coordination, and decision-making to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Utilize advanced clinical skills and knowledge to manage complex patient cases, and provide education and support to patients and families.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of unit-based initiatives to improve patient satisfaction, safety, and outcomes.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
- At least 15 months of relevant professional nursing experience, with completion of the Nurse Residency Program, if applicable.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing.
