About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) team. As a Clinical Nurse 2, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to a culture of safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized patient care through the application of the nursing process, prioritizing patient needs and ensuring safe and effective care.
  • Collaborate with the interprofessional healthcare team to facilitate coordination of care across the continuum, promoting seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, utilizing data and evidence-based practices to identify opportunities for improvement and drive positive change.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues, fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices, technologies, and research, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and advance the field of nursing.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited nursing program
  • More than 15 months of relevant professional nursing experience, with completion of the Nurse Residency Program (if applicable)
