Position Summary

The Coffee Specialist at Providence Row is tasked with delivering exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere to all patrons. This role involves providing detailed knowledge about our premium coffee and tea selections while ensuring a high standard of service. The specialist is expected to perform various duties that reflect positively on the coffee bar.

Key Responsibilities
  • Uphold the highest standards of product quality and consistency.
  • Adhere to all company recipes and preparation methods.
  • Gain knowledge of coffee and tea origins, flavor profiles, and blends.
  • Skillfully prepare blended and cold beverages as per store offerings.
  • Welcome customers with prompt, friendly service and build rapport by remembering their preferences.
  • Accurately take and repeat customer orders in a courteous manner.
  • Address customer complaints by reporting them to the manager on duty.
  • Proactively manage customer service situations to ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain a friendly and efficient service environment.
Qualifications

Essential Skills
  • Entry-level position.
  • Foster a positive work environment and maintain professionalism.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized.
  • Ability to stand, walk, talk, and hear regularly.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Availability to work from 5:30 am to 10:00/11:00 am.
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service.
  • Must successfully pass a drug screening.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous barista experience.
