About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Survey Project Manager to join our team at Psomas. As a key member of our Land Survey team, you will be responsible for managing resources, providing staff leadership, and guiding the technical work of other surveyors, CAD drafters, and sub-consultants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Prepare scopes of work, negotiate contracts, and manage budgets and schedules for a diverse portfolio of projects throughout California.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Foster a collaborative and motivating work environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth among team members.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging existing client relationships and developing new ones.
  • Technical Expertise: Use your knowledge of land surveying/mapping to support the technical work of other surveyors, CAD drafters, and sub-consultants.
  • Contract Management: Serve as Contract Manager for significant projects and programs.
Requirements
  • Professional Qualifications: Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or Professional Engineering (PE) License.
  • Experience: 10+ years of progressively responsible Land Survey experience and 5+ years' experience in Project Management.
  • Skills: Proficient in industry standard software and management tools, familiarity with state and county mapping requirements.
