Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Breast Medical Oncologist to join our team at the Assistant level. As an Academic Member in the Moffitt Cancer Center Don and Erika Wallace Comprehensive Breast Program, you will be responsible for all aspects of patient care, including evaluation, management, and treatment of patients. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care delivery and engage in clinical or translational research.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and manage patients with breast cancer, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team
  • Participate in clinical or translational research, including the development of new educational techniques and the discovery of new knowledge
  • Collaborate with basic and population scientists to advance our understanding of breast cancer
  • Contribute to the development of new educational programs and materials
Requirements
  • MD or equivalent degree
  • Board certification or eligibility in Hematology/Oncology
  • Successful completion of an approved Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology
  • Florida Medical License
  • DEA License
  • ACLS as required by privileges granted through Medical Staff
