Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Breast Medical Oncologist to join our team as an Assistant Professor in the Moffitt Cancer Center Don and Erika Wallace Comprehensive Breast Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of patient care, including evaluation, management, and treatment of patients with breast cancer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and manage patients with breast cancer, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
  • Conduct clinical or translational research in breast cancer, with protected time available for research activities
  • Teach and mentor students, residents, and fellows in the field of breast cancer
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols
Requirements
  • MD or equivalent degree
  • Florida medical license or eligibility for licensure
  • Board certification or eligibility in general surgery and fellowship training in surgical oncology or breast oncology
  • Experience in a multidisciplinary clinical practice setting
