Position Overview:

This role involves participating in the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of engineering projects related to the design, construction, and maintenance of these critical energy infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members to design systems that meet project objectives while adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Engage in the design and implementation of plant systems, including gas pretreatment, liquefaction processes, cryogenic storage, and control systems.
  • Conduct site assessments and prepare essential documentation for procurement and construction activities.
  • Specify and acquire necessary materials and equipment, coordinating both in-house and contracted labor.
  • Organize project bidding processes, evaluate proposals, and facilitate the awarding of contracts.
  • Develop and uphold field procedures to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
  • Coordinate construction efforts with various stakeholders, including contractors and regulatory bodies.
  • Support the oversight of construction activities to ensure adherence to specifications and codes.
  • Review purchase requisitions and invoices related to engineering activities.
  • Assist in restoration efforts for facilities and gas distribution systems during emergency situations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong foundation in engineering principles, plant construction, and maintenance practices.
  • Proficient in interpreting Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and schematic drawings.
  • Understanding of thermodynamic and cryogenic principles relevant to LNG and LPG.
  • Familiarity with applicable codes and regulations governing the industry.
  • Knowledge of environmental compliance requirements affecting engineering activities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience:
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in the engineering field.
