Job Summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a highly skilled LNG Engineer to join our team. As an LNG Engineer, you will be responsible for participating in the planning, development, and performance of engineering assignments related to the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design systems or installations to fit objectives, conforming to industry standards, guidelines, and regulations of federal, state, and local authorities.
  • Perform site layouts and prepare necessary documents for procurement, permitting, and construction.
  • Specify and procure materials and equipment, coordinating in-house and contract labor.
  • Develop and maintain field procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and procedures, federal, state, and local regulations, and codes.
  • Coordinate construction activities with customers, contractors, states, municipalities, and internal departments.
  • Assist in the oversight of construction activities to ensure specification and code compliance.
  • Review purchase requisitions and invoices related to departmental activity.
  • Assist in facility and gas distribution system restoration efforts during emergencies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of fundamental engineering disciplines, plant construction, and maintenance work practices and procedures.
  • Ability to read and understand Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and follow schematic drawings.
  • Knowledge of applicable governmental code and regulations.
  • Working knowledge of environmental requirements affecting related activities.
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications.
What We Offer

Eversource Energy offers a competitive total rewards program, including an annual salary range of $92,140.00 to $102,380.00, plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

This position is categorized as safety-sensitive for the purpose of drug testing. Successful applicants shall be subject to a pre-assignment drug test. As an employee in this position, the individual shall be subject to random drug testing. A positive drug test will result in disciplinary action.
