In this position, you will engage in comprehensive technical and procedural evaluations related to extensive data center operations and systems. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Acting as the technical authority to coordinate necessary participants for conducting thorough "root cause analyses" of technical challenges.
2. Crafting detailed written and oral presentations regarding incidents and proposing effective long-term solutions.
3. Leading initiatives to implement enhancement projects and lessons learned to mitigate future occurrences.
4. Maintaining an in-depth understanding of customer missions and IT service support requirements within a major data center context.
5. Playing a pivotal role in IT Change Management, system architectural design, and contributing to new business proposals.

Required Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree with 8 to 12 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 6 to 10 years of relevant experience. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proficiency in various technical areas, including Server Administration (Windows, Linux, UNIX), Cisco networking, Firewall technologies, WebSphere, Mainframe (z/OS, z/VM), Storage systems, and Data Center Operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage conflicts effectively.
- Adaptability and productivity in a dynamic work environment, along with strong collaboration skills to support multiple stakeholders.
- A self-starter attitude, capable of working independently while being a team player.

Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Agile methodologies is advantageous.

Clearance Requirement:
Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is between $87,000 and $157,450. This range serves as a general guideline and does not guarantee specific compensation. Factors influencing the final offer may include job responsibilities, education, experience, and market alignment.
