About the Role

At HDR, we are committed to creating a collaborative and inclusive work environment where every employee is valued and respected. As a Utility Coordinator/EIT, you will play a crucial role in supporting our project teams in delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with clients and utility owners to ensure project schedules are met and comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Identify and resolve utility conflicts in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Input utility information into Microstation and create utility layouts, plans sheets, and design documents.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proficient in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, with experience in highways and roads engineering software.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate or willingness to obtain.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in utility coordination and relocation.
  • Knowledge of TxDOT's Utility Accommodation Rules, Utility Manual, Roadway Design Manual, and CFR 645 Subparts A & B.
