A/V Technical Support Specialist (2 Positions)


Position Overview:


Deliver Tier 3 and primary technical assistance for audio/visual systems in both Learning Spaces and non-academic environments. This role encompasses various equipment including control systems (predominantly AMX), computing systems, audio/video switchers, audio amplifiers and mixers, projectors, and display units.

Collaborate with the Learning Spaces team to guarantee the seamless functionality of a/v systems in General Purpose classrooms.

This role will extend support to the Learning Spaces support and build teams throughout all stages of the design, installation, and maintenance of media-rich environments.


This position is committed to upholding the core principles of outstanding collaboration and communication, a drive for excellence, a passion for education, and integrity in all actions.


Qualifications & Attributes


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline; equivalency considered
  • Minimum of three years in information technology and/or audio/visual support and design; required
  • Proven expertise in audiovisual technologies and peripherals; required
  • Familiarity with computer hardware, software, and networking; required
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; required
  • Strong organizational capabilities; required
  • Demonstrated experience in project management; preferred
  • CTS or CTS-I certification; preferred
  • Proficiency in AMX Programming; preferred
  • Knowledge of D-Tools or similar software; preferred

Compensation:
$51,300/year minimum

Location: This position is based in Lincoln, NE.
