Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified individual with a robust background in tax accounting to take on the role of Senior Tax Manager. This position involves overseeing the Company's tax responsibilities, which encompass both U.S. and international tax planning, compliance, accounting, and operational tax issues. The successful candidate will manage third-party consultants, guide individual contributors, and collaborate closely with the tax and management teams.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervise the preparation of domestic and international tax compliance filings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  2. Manage operational tax compliance tasks, including transfer pricing arrangements, VAT filings, and property tax obligations.
  3. Support senior management in developing and implementing effective tax strategies.
  4. Establish and maintain relationships with third-party consultants on a local and global scale.
  5. Oversee the tax accounting process, including the preparation of tax provision work papers and reconciliations.
  6. Act as the primary point of contact for independent reviewers regarding tax-related matters.
  7. Ensure compliance with local tax authority requirements through effective internal controls and accounting policies.
  8. Enhance corporate awareness of tax risks and compliance issues through education and review of key business activities.
  9. Stay informed on changes in tax GAAP, tax codes, and relevant rulings that may impact the Company's tax compliance and strategy.
  10. Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts for various domestic and international tax expenses.
  11. Undertake additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required; CPA designation is preferred.
  2. A minimum of 8 years of comprehensive tax experience, including corporate and international tax.
  3. A proactive and adaptable team player capable of thriving in a dynamic environment.
  4. Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects independently.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with non-financial managers and staff at all levels.
