Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to take on the role of Senior Tax Manager. This position will be responsible for overseeing the Company's tax obligations, which encompass both domestic and international tax planning, compliance, accounting, and operational tax matters. The successful candidate will manage third-party consultants, lead individual contributors, and collaborate closely with the tax and management teams.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervise the preparation of both domestic and international tax compliance submissions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness as handled by external tax professionals.
  2. Manage operational tax compliance activities, including transfer pricing arrangements, VAT submissions, and property tax obligations.
  3. Support senior leadership in formulating and executing tax strategies.
  4. Establish and nurture relationships with third-party consultants on a local and global scale.
  5. Oversee the tax accounting process, including the preparation of tax provision documentation, account reconciliations, and technical accounting research.
  6. Act as the primary contact for independent reviewers regarding tax-related issues.
  7. Ensure adherence to tax-related internal controls and accounting policies to comply with local regulations and enhance operational efficiency.
  8. Promote awareness of tax risks and compliance challenges through corporate education and review of significant business activities.
  9. Stay informed on changes in tax GAAP, tax legislation, and relevant rulings that may impact the Company's tax compliance and strategy.
  10. Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts for various tax-related expenses.
  11. Perform additional duties and special projects as required.
Qualifications
  1. A BS/BA in accounting or finance is required; CPA designation is preferred.
  2. A minimum of 8 years of comprehensive tax experience, including corporate and international tax.
  3. A proactive and adaptable team player capable of thriving in a dynamic environment.
  4. Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects independently.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with non-financial managers and personnel at all levels.
