Job Overview:
In the role of Category Buyer at ITT, you will be integral to various functions associated with the procurement of brake pad components. Your duties will encompass both administrative responsibilities and strategic planning, which includes pinpointing cost-reduction opportunities, negotiating supplier contracts, and ensuring a reliable supply chain to fulfill organizational needs. You will play a key role in shaping the product sourcing strategy and partnering with suppliers to foster long-term success.
- Forge and maintain strategic partnerships with suppliers in the metal stamping, rubber-steel stamping, and surface treatment sectors.
- Negotiate terms and pricing agreements with suppliers.
- Implement initiatives aimed at cost reduction and oversee procurement operations.
- Conduct market research and cost evaluations to inform strategic decisions.

- Design and implement effective sourcing strategies.
- Manage and nurture supplier relationships.
- Monitor cost savings and evaluate procurement performance.
