We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Rutland Regional Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.

Job Summary

The Advanced Practice Provider will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients. This includes conducting physical exams, ordering diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary and specialty care to patients in multiple settings, including cancer clinics, inpatient units, emergency departments, and telehealth services.
  • Work collaboratively with physician and nurse partners to deliver patient-centered care.
  • Conduct thorough medical histories and perform physical examinations to diagnose and manage various health conditions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual patient needs, taking into account current best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions, diagnoses, and treatments.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or completion of an American Medical Association-approved Physician Assistant program.
  • A minimum of two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the specified specialty area.
  • Licensure and certification in the state of Vermont, as required by law and professional standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off.
