About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Commercial Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial architecture, excellent interpersonal skills, and a keen attention to the technical and aesthetic details that drive outstanding project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business objectives, space needs, and brand identity to create tailored design solutions.
- Develop innovative design concepts that not only meet but exceed client expectations, while adhering to project requirements and budget constraints.
- Lead the design process from conceptualization through to construction documentation and project completion, ensuring design integrity and quality at every stage.
- Foster strong client relationships through effective communication, responsiveness, and a steadfast commitment to surpassing client expectations.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in commercial design to continually enhance our capabilities and offerings.
- Mentor junior staff members and contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in commercial architecture, with a portfolio demonstrating strong design sensibility and a track record of successful large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in industry-related software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
- Comprehensive understanding of the California Building Code and adeptness at navigating complex zoning regulations.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within budget.
