Role Responsibilities:

The Family Centered Treatment Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality psychotherapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families, employing the Family Centered Treatment model. Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging with at-risk youth and their families through the Family Centered Treatment (FCT) approach.
  • Facilitating individual and family therapy sessions in community settings.
  • Providing thorough case management to enhance clients' mental health and overall well-being.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Demonstrating a passion for positively impacting the lives of at-risk youth and families.
  • Exhibiting dedication, compassion, and a drive to foster positive change.
  • Possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Thriving in a dynamic and challenging work environment.
  • Having a background in human services and a commitment to serving others is preferred.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in human services or a related field is required.
  • At least two years of experience working with youth or families.
  • Current Family Centered Treatment Certification is preferred.
  • State-specific requirements include:
  1. For NC, VA - QMHP or eligibility to register as a QMHP.
  2. For MS - Must be provisionally credentialed as a PCSS with eligibility for full credentialing as a CCSS.
