Role Responsibilities:
The Family Centered Treatment Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality psychotherapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families, employing the Family Centered Treatment model. Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging with at-risk youth and their families through the Family Centered Treatment (FCT) approach.
- Facilitating individual and family therapy sessions in community settings.
- Providing thorough case management to enhance clients' mental health and overall well-being.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Demonstrating a passion for positively impacting the lives of at-risk youth and families.
- Exhibiting dedication, compassion, and a drive to foster positive change.
- Possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Thriving in a dynamic and challenging work environment.
- Having a background in human services and a commitment to serving others is preferred.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in human services or a related field is required.
- At least two years of experience working with youth or families.
- Current Family Centered Treatment Certification is preferred.
- State-specific requirements include:
- For NC, VA - QMHP or eligibility to register as a QMHP.
- For MS - Must be provisionally credentialed as a PCSS with eligibility for full credentialing as a CCSS.
