Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Project Manager/Team Leader to join our team in Denver, CO. The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental permitting, NEPA compliance, and natural resources management.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in environmental science, biology, or a related field, and at least 6 years of relevant experience. A Master's degree and 10+ years of experience are preferred.

The Senior Environmental Project Manager/Team Leader will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients with multiple projects, delivering revenues assigned from specific clients, and consistently completing projects without write-downs or multiplier erosion.

The successful candidate will have decision-making authority, direct staff to operate and minimize exposure to claims, and supervise and mentor team members with multiple projects or programs assignments.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, biology, or a related field
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in environmental permitting, NEPA compliance, and natural resources management
  • Master's degree and 10+ years of experience preferred
  • Strong current and recent experience with federal agencies, energy development companies, electric transmission developers, utilities, and other energy companies
  • Demonstrated leadership in proposal development and successful pursuit of competitive bids
  • Experience with environmental permitting, NEPA, relevant environmental regulations, and processes, and the associated public engagement processes
  • Experience managing a team and mentoring staff
  • Strong experience with client relationship building and leading and delivering environmental permitting services
About the Role

This is a hybrid role that requires the ability to work independently with limited supervision, as well as in a collaborative team environment. The successful candidate will have a high degree of self-motivation, organizational management skills, and the ability to delegate, multi-task, and perform detail-oriented work.
