Position Summary

The Trade Remedies Case Coordinator plays a vital role in delivering administrative assistance and client service to the International Trade Group, ensuring adherence to critical timelines and established protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support attorneys and trade analysts in the preparation and submission of documents to the International Trade Administration (ITA) and the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) concerning U.S. antidumping and countervailing duty (AD/CVD) investigations through agency platforms.
  • Track developments in cases at both the ITA and USITC.
  • Organize and maintain electronic records for AD/CVD cases systematically.
  • Conduct thorough internal reviews and evaluations of records management and administrative document archiving.
  • Engage regularly with other law firms, vendors, and government agency personnel under the guidance of attorneys or analysts.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to independently create high-quality written communications, including memos, presentations, and standard documents.
  • Intermediate expertise in Microsoft Excel for generating spreadsheets and reports.
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with colleagues in a positive and enthusiastic manner.
  • Demonstrated sound judgment and discretion, with a focus on detail and efficiency in both routine and complex tasks.
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities while maintaining productivity and commitment to deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting clearly and effectively with attorneys, staff, vendors, and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent command of the English language, with a focus on spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Ability to deliver quality client service to both internal and external contacts regarding routine non-legal matters.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary for tactful communication and effective instruction following among a diverse clientele, attorneys, and staff.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Capability to lift, move, and carry items weighing up to 25 lbs without assistance.

Education Requirements

A High School Diploma or GED is required. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent specialized training, is advantageous.

Experience Requirements

One (1) year of office experience is necessary. Legal administrative experience or familiarity with AD/CVD processes is preferred.

Our firm is dedicated to equitable compensation practices in compliance with applicable laws. The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000, with additional compensation potentially including a discretionary bonus. Salary may vary based on location, market data, applicant qualifications, and other relevant factors.
