Behavioral Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Therapist to join our team at River Edge Behavioral Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality behavioral health services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Perform thorough assessments to identify the needs of our clients and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans to address behavioral challenges and promote positive outcomes.
- Provide Leadership and Supervision: Lead and supervise therapy teams, including training staff and collaborating with parents and families.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with other professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal outcomes for our clients.
- Ensure Quality and Compliance: Maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance, adhering to organizational, state, and federal regulations.
- Master's Degree in Social Service Field: Possess a master's degree in a relevant field, such as social work, sociology, psychology, or human services.
- Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA): Hold a valid and active BCBA certification from the Board of Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Valid GA Driver's License: Possess a valid Georgia driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Emotional Intelligence and Composure: Maintain emotional and physical composure, even in challenging situations, and refrain from responding inappropriately to clients.
- Ethical Practices: Adhere to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals, including those from diverse backgrounds and disciplines.
- Designing Intervention Plans: Possess the ability to design programs that meet the physical, social, and emotional needs of clients, while maximizing team collaboration and service integration.
- Training and Development: Provide training and certification in the Mindset de-escalation methodology and other relevant areas, as needed.
