Job Description

Job Summary:

As a Construction Superintendent at Wan Bridge Group, your contribution to delivering high-quality homes is crucial to our company's growth. We are seeking candidates with 1-3 years of experience who possess high energy, a desire to excel in their build time, and the ability to leverage technology and relationships to improve construction processes and real estate business knowledge.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee homebuilding construction through all phases to deliver quality homes that meet tenant expectations on time and within budget.
  • Attend weekly construction meetings and community visits to maintain an ongoing understanding of community status and job construction processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve construction goals for their community.
  • Establish and maintain successful relationships with vendors and labor contractors.
  • Interact with various departments to align overall business expectations and plans.
  • Negotiate with vendors to secure the best possible deals.
  • Utilize and understand computer programs in the Microsoft Suite and construction-centric software to communicate project information effectively.

Qualifications:

  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in construction or a related field is required.
  • A strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and materials is essential.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively is crucial.
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards is necessary.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

Essential Functions:

  • A typical work schedule, Monday through Friday, with occasional after-hours work as required or needed to meet deadlines.
  • The ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device.
  • Excellent organization, coordination, and project management skills are essential.
  • The ability to lift or move items up to 50 pounds (or team lift) is necessary.
  • The ability to walk, sit, or stand for long periods of time.
  • The ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communication in English.
