Senior Business Development Manager

We are seeking a skilled Sales Representative to join our team as a Senior Business Development Manager - Major Accounts. This role will involve selling human resources technology within a designated geographic territory to cultivate new business opportunities and drive strategic discussions around Human Capital Management (HCM) initiatives for companies with 50 -- 999 employees.
The successful candidate will manage complete sales cycles, sell ADP's suite of solutions (40+ products and services) to executives, and accurately forecast their sales pipeline. ADP is committed to supporting its representatives and their goals with continuous sales training and the latest technology to set them up for success as they manage their book of business.
This role requires a positive self-starter with an impressive track record of closing sales, winning clients, and managing a territory. The ideal candidate will be confident in presenting ideas in a clear professional manner on paper, in-person, and over the phone, with a strong ability to build relationships, live integrity, and deliver on promises.
Responsibilities include:
- Growing our business while growing yours: Work independently and collaboratively as part of various teams within your assigned geography to close sales, win business, and reach sales goals.
- Turning prospects into loyal clients and raving fans: Implement a sales strategy targeted to decision-makers and business owners to build a network and capture new business.
- Deepening relationships across the ADP family: Strategically cultivate additional business within existing accounts.
- Collaborating daily: Serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to your clients, internal partners, and overall network while demonstrating grace under pressure and the highest ethical standards.
A college degree is not required, but experience in quota-carrying, outside business-to-business sales or relevant experience in HCM, technology, business equipment, uniform, or software sales is preferred.
Bonus points for successfully building a network and effectively using social media for sales.
