Job Overview

Benore Logistic Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing direct supervision and guidance to our skilled driver workforce, ensuring on-time service excellence and upholding operational proficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Oversight: Provide direct supervision and guidance to our driver workforce, ensuring on-time service excellence and operational proficiency.
  • Compliance and Safety: Enforce DOT regulations, C-TPAT compliance, and company policies with a firm yet fair approach, ensuring a safe working environment for all drivers.
  • Training and Development: Conduct comprehensive driver training programs to uphold operational proficiency and adherence to best practices.
  • Performance Monitoring: Administer driver evaluations, ride-alongs, and behavioral observations to identify areas for coaching and development.
  • Incident Investigation: Assist in investigating incidents, injuries, and accidents, coordinating with the Safety team for rigorous compliance.
  • Driver Retention: Collaborate with HR and leadership to implement initiatives that boost driver satisfaction and retention.
  • Leadership and Example: Embody our core values of professionalism, quality, customer satisfaction, and ethical conduct, inspiring our driver team through exceptional leadership abilities.

Requirements
  • Education: Possess a Bachelor's degree in management, transportation, or a related field (or an Associate's degree with relevant experience).
  • Experience: Demonstrated minimum of 3-5 years in management and 5 years in transportation.
  • Skills: Proficiency in at least two areas, including dispatch, fleet maintenance, CDL driving, and/or transportation safety.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office 365, transportation software (TMW, Peoplenet, etc.), and reporting tools.
  • Additional Requirements: Hold a valid Class A CDL and meet eligibility requirements for company vehicle insurance.
