Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective parts department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction
- Promote and merchandise parts and accessories to maximize sales and revenue
- Create and manage annual parts department goals and budget
- Develop and execute a parts department marketing plan to achieve departmental goals
- Maintain accurate and effective parts inventory control systems
- Manage recruiting, staffing, and employee development activities for employees reporting to this position
- Ensure all department tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order
- Communicate with the Corporate Parts Manager on location facility needs and improvements
- Work collaboratively with sales and service departments to provide excellent customer service
- 1+ years of experience in parts department operations
- Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
- Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups
- Basic understanding of financial principles relative to parts department operations
- Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends
- Excellent customer service skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
