  • Promote and merchandise parts and accessories to maximize sales and revenue
  • Create and manage annual parts department goals and budget
  • Develop and execute a parts department marketing plan to achieve departmental goals
  • Maintain accurate and effective parts inventory control systems
  • Manage recruiting, staffing, and employee development activities for employees reporting to this position
  • Ensure all department tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order
  • Communicate with the Corporate Parts Manager on location facility needs and improvements
  • Work collaboratively with sales and service departments to provide excellent customer service
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in parts department operations
  • Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
  • Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups
  • Basic understanding of financial principles relative to parts department operations
  • Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
