Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team as a Float PRN. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will provide professional pharmacy services to patients and healthcare professionals, ensuring the highest level of care and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical consultation and guidance to patients and healthcare professionals on medication therapy and management.
  • Prepare and dispense medications, including sterile and non-sterile preparations, in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate medication orders for contraindications, incompatibilities, allergies, and dosing.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and medication orders in the electronic medical record.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement medication therapy plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Provide education and training to patients and healthcare professionals on medication use and management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
  • Current licensure as a pharmacist in the state of Tennessee.
  • Experience in patient care and clinical pharmacy practice.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations.
