Job Summary

St. Francis Hospital Bartlett is seeking a skilled Staff Pharmacist PRN Rotating to join our team. As a comprehensive medical center, we provide high-quality, compassionate care to the community.

Responsibilities
  • Review and monitor patient medication therapy and orders for safety and efficacy, advising the patient care team of any issues or enhancements.
  • Prepare, label, and dispense medications for patients in accordance with physicians' prescriptions, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and local laws and regulations.
  • Ensure that appropriate medications are available for patients and properly procured, prepared, stored, and maintained.
  • Supervise the process and technical personnel who assist in preparation, maintenance, and dispensing of drugs and supplies.
  • Maintain liaison relationships with medical and nursing staff, providing timely information on pharmaceutical supplies, drug usage, and compatibility.
Requirements
  • Pharm. D. or BS in pharmacy required.
  • Preferred: Hospital experience and Accredited Case Manager (ACM) certification.
