Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Shively Diversified Management Services. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing sales orders, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and track sales orders, purchase orders, and invoices with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism with customers, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ensure orders are input accurately and follow up on missing information and open orders in a timely manner.
  • Control and manage incoming and outgoing documents, maintaining a secure and organized work environment.
  • Respond to customer inquiries with accurate and relevant information, providing prompt and courteous service.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma and 1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a sales or inventory management environment.
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision, completing assigned tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with experience using these tools in a professional setting.
  • Knowledge of purchasing or inventory management principles, with a desire to learn and grow in this area.
  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • The ability to sit or walk for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds unassisted, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Compliance with all safety guidelines and regulations, with a focus on ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others.
