We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team at Cardiovascular Associates of America. As a key member of our Remote Patient Monitoring Program, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for enrolling, engaging, and coordinating patients throughout the remote patient monitoring program.
  • Ensure accurate electronic patient roster and data collection.
  • Assist with remote patient monitoring services, such as patient enrollment, patient compliance, and patient assistance.
  • Coordinate patient care with cardiology practice teams.
  • Provide excellent patient-centric care by identifying patient needs, alerting providers to gaps in care, and coordinating with caregivers.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you must have:

  • A Certified Medical Assistant certification (AAMA or NCCT) within one year of issuance.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 3 months' experience in a medical office setting preferred.
Key Skills
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology and medication procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and coordinate duties efficiently and effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of CPT & ICD-10 coding procedures.
  • Proficiency in working with electronic health records and Microsoft Office applications.
